Glass Art Classes

At Longboat Key Center for the Arts, our Program for Glass Art reflects the latest ideas and techniques used by today’s renowned artists. The program preserves many of the basic techniques used by renowned glass artists of the past. The whole program is constantly under review to make sure that it is updated to reflect the latest state of the art. The instructors incorporate instruction from artists both locally and nationally and visit such artists to review their work. The program makes every effort to have some of these artists available for the students to see their work and hear lectures on glass techniques.

The Glass Program keeps the student progressing and improving their skill so that they will enjoy a future in creative glass.
