This is a four-day workshop open to all levels. Each day will focus on something new including Dark to Light Techniques, Watercolor & Ink, Watercolor & Masa, and finishing with a round up of all techniques.

Jump-start spring and create watercolor images with the ever changing sky as the primary focus. A sampling includes moody storm clouds, subtle sunrises, dramatic thunderheads, as well as fluffy billowy white clouds so numerous in Florida. This is a great start to painting skies from life for students of any level. Foregrounds are very necessary, but are simply handled to feature the sky.

Ruth brings a variety of source materials to work from as well as her demos. Very little drawing is involved and each student leaves with a collection of their own finished watercolors. This two day workshop format creates the perfect environment for absorbing these new ideas and completing successful paintings.
